Father's Day Weekend

Because our children share our interesting sense of humor, this is the gift they purchased for Greg. He loves it.

He spent his Father's Day weekend detailing my car (it's gorgeous) and roasting a turkey breast. This man is awesome and appreciates low-key approaches to celebrations.

We hosted Benjamin overnight Friday and enjoyed having his energy back in our home again. We took him bowling and out for frozen yogurt before unleashing the boys into the construction zone behind the house with light sabers. A sprinkler under the trampoline wrapped up our visit before we drove him home.

The girls discovered we were all wearing hats Saturday and snapped this quickly before they each headed out to different pool parties. I wish Lauren was here too. Looking at photos like this, I realize why they call me a copier. None of us can deny anyone in the family. The DNA is pretty strong around here.
