Lauren, Taylor and Austin drove into town for Memorial Day weekend when Taylor learned he had a five day weekend. When he and his dad drove back to Georgia so Taylor could work a couple of shifts and his dad could play golf, we got to keep Lauren and Austin. That week was wonderful with a lot of baby snuggles and so much time spent talking with Lauren. There is nothing like finding a deeper level of connection with your daughter as she navigates motherhood.
Once Taylor returned on Friday, they relocated to Taylor's dad's house for the remaining ten days of their visit because they have a guest room and private area that doesn't send anyone out of their bed for extended periods of time like our house does. They are still traveling around seeing so many friends and family and as usual, Austin is rolling with the chaos. This little guy is pretty sweet and very patient unless he is hungry. His personality reminds me a lot of his mom at this age.
Having them in town when Austin turned three months old meant I got to play with my camera and my favorite subject.
They simply don't come any happier or sweeter than this baby. We adore you, Austin Ryan and will be quite sad to let you return to Georgia this weekend.
