Celebrating Makenna's Graduation

It's official! Three down. Two to go! Makenna graduated high school yesterday. Greg and I were able to attend with both sets of grandparents. Several friends and a lot of family helped us celebrate afterward with a whirlwind open house that left us speechless a few times as we were surprised by some who took the time to travel and surprise us. We have awesome people in our lives.

She never shed a tear. She was ready to be finished and is eager to move forward in life even though exactly what that looks like is still a bit of a mystery. We have encouraged her to take a semester off to think about life a bit. The world is so big and overwhelming and at 17, she simply doesn't know what who she wants to be when she grows up. We have faith she will find her path naturally and soon. She is pretty amazing.
